WIND POWER

Wind power plays a vital role in the global energy transition. As part of my ongoing project exploring how societies around the world are resourcing this shift, I have photographed wind park developments across diverse landscapes — from offshore installations in the Netherlands to high-altitude turbines in the Swiss Alps, and from vast desert wind farms in the United States to those in Spain.

These wind turbines have become integral to our evolving, man-made landscapes. In 2023, wind and solar power together accounted for 30% of the global energy mix.
